Slovenian Maritime Traffic Management

Panna Plus is specialized in comprehensive project solutions. Partnering with the Italian company Elman, Panna Plus assisted in setting up the National Maritime Traffic Control and Crisis Management center at the Port of Koper.

Panna Plus provided the engineering services in the integration phase, being responsible for obtaining building permits, engineering services and monitoring, and for installation and system integration. The Elman Vessel Traffic Management Information System provides greater safety in Slovenian territorial waters. New radars, sensors, and tools, with radiofrequency, thermographic, and long-range cameras, give operators greater control of the port and vessels in the vicinity and within the port. In addition, a surveillance radar with a system for oil spill detection was constructed on the Debeli Rtič peninsula, enabling rapid response in the event of accidents in the bays of Koper and Trieste.
