Upon successful testing at NATO’s Advanced Search and Rescue Exercise in Portugal, MAAT − MANPADS and Aircrew Trainer, developed in a joint project with Guardiaris and Slovenian MOD, was additionally tested at the international Ramstein Guard exercise. The exercise took place in Slovenia in November 2021, attended by the Slovenian Armed forcers, German armed forces and US Army Europe, operating the MAAT and helicopter, and NATO members, who operated the comparable system. MAAT was testing the operational abilities of MANPADS crews (SA-24) with weapon digital replica and helicopter crews in the detection of MAAT simulated missile launch and subsequent manoeuvring. Operating in real environments, NATO members recognized the MAAT system successfully operational, triggering missile warning alarms in excess of 4 km. NATO’s use of the MAAT system and its recognition proof the quality and accuracy of the system.
